TITLE: ERC DISPATCHER: FULL TIME POSITION

Description:
Monitor burglary, fire, medical, and panic alarms from residential and commercial accounts. Must be capable of handling heavy phone activity. Operator must be able to multitask. Must be capable of calming angered or distraught callers; maintain calm in radio transmissions during hectic, tense and dangerous situations.
Test and inspect equipment as needed. Provide temporary
and vacation relief for other staff as necessary.
Special Requirements Must be available to work all shifts, including weekdays,
weekends, evenings, and holidays (Hours/Days will be adjusted as needed).
Perform assigned duties and responsibilities which may involve sitting for
extended periods of time, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and operating
assigned equipment. Work in office environment; and be exposed to a computer
screen.
